: Walking the dogs
: hoddy December 27, 2013, 08:34:32 PM
Now I'm retired, walking the dogs daily is part of my daily routine and I've managed to follow my own advice and always carry a camera. The camera of choice for this is a Franka Solida 6 x 6 folding camera which cost me the princely sum of £10 from a well known auction site and fits easily into my coat pocket. Although I'm sometimes a little disappointed by the sharpness it continues to surprise me with how well it can cope with a range of lighting.

My morning walk is usually of 2 or 3 miles around the local golf course which borders the River Waveney. Having done the walk for most days when we are here (see my other post Travels in a narrowboat) I sometimes think that I've exhausted the possibilities but the following photographs have all been shot in the last couple of months. All on HP5

Wonderful set of photos, Hoddy!
I especially like the first one and the one with the trees in the puddle.

Walking the dogs seems to be one of the major motivators for the people here on the forum to take pictures regularly. I have to keep that in mind for when I run into a dry spell. ;-)

Thanks all, glad you like them. Having the digs has the advantage of getting me out of the house and keeoing me mildly fit!

Happy new year everyone.
