Check out this film:
Elliott Erwitt's Great Scottish Adventure (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4djabjkQzkE#)
Elliott Erwitt seems to be a truly nice fella as well as a superb photographer. And what a gig.....!! :o

loved that - thanks

Excellent!

Bagpipes, rain and midges. I particularly like the transition from the whisky spilling out of the bunghole to the developing tray. Is there perhaps a whisky-based equivalent to caffenol?
-
There is no equivalent to whiskey (in Gaelic, "uisge beatha" pronounced wisga beh") :o
I'd just settle for an opportunity to shadow Elliott Erwitt for a few days and be able to sample on the the whiskeys that is used as a benchmark for all others.

Nobody does humour like Elliot

Thanks for the link. I love Elliott's humour too.

Thanks Paul, that was excellent. Elliott Erwitt would be fun to spend an afternoon with. :-)

What a lovely film. I shall have to buy a bottle of Macallan for a little Christmas present for myself. Can only aspire to emulate Erwitt in my own meagre fashion otherwise.

The coffee we use to develop film is not suitable for ingestion, really. But abusing whiskey to develop film would be a crime against humanity. I guess Mr. Erwitt would agree with a smile.
Slainte mhath

All I can say is the guy has impeccable tastes...
I'd like to ride around with him in that car!
Very cool, thanks for making my evening a bit brighter!

Wonderful man, wonderful camera, wonderful photography, wonderful scotch! By coincidence, I had just purchased 2 bottles of 18 year old MaCallan two days ago!
Thanks for sharing.
