Hope your partner recovered with no complications and is back riding again. I also hope the hunt didn't find any quarry.

Poor fell runner! :-)  I thought they looked a bit heavy for fox hounds

Beautiful set of photos, Gary. Hope your partner is fully on the mend.

I must admit I'm 100% with Leon on the subject of hunting. As Oscar Wilde described such barbarism it's "the unspeakable in full pursuit of the uneatable."  I had a mate, however, who used to get stripped off to his running kit and covered in aniseed oil, etc. then given a head start until the hunt came after him.  It helped his stamina / fitness no-end, the hunt got to chase around the countryside to their hearts' consent and "Monsieur Reynard" kept his tail - and his life.

We are 100% against fox hunting, on these hunts the runner gets in the trailor with the dogs and do they stink, we also get to go to old halls one of the best hunts is round Chatsworth grounds about 18 miles

Chatsworth is one of my favourite places, my wife is from Ashbourne so we head up there at least once a year

We are only about 15 minutes away so always go to the horse trial and country and game show

Thankyou very much but she has got to wait 3-4 months to wait yet and the hunt season has just started
