As soon as I can run a roll of film through it, I'll do a complete review!
 :)

cool! looking forward to reading about it. I'm really interested in how the end product ended up for them :)

The mailbox was a bit confining   ;D

I just posted a full review of the Ondu Kickstarter pinhole camera on my blog.
It's a fun camera!

good review becky! it seems like a sturdy piece of equipment. I kind of like how clean it is in its design -so it's easy to mod if you want to :)
the shiny backplate is an easy fix and problably something they will be able to improve in an upgrade after the hurry with the kickstarter cameras are out.

Yes, there are many ways to mod this and I'm sure they will tweak it a bit here and there as they get to making more and more cameras.
It's really nice, and quite a compact box.
I'm anxious for others to get the larger film sized boxes and hear reviews on them.

I'm waiting for a 6x6. But I haven't yet been contracted with respect to which finish I would prefer. Did Elvis contact you prior to delivery Becky, or how did you get to choose between the two options?

Elvis contacted me sometime last month about the finish.
It has been a good experience all around.
They have been putting out messages on how far along the cameras have come in production and given approximate times for the cameras to ship out.
All good!   :)

My pinhole review wound up on the Ondu site and Elvis sent me a personal note this morning regarding some of the concerns I had with the camera.
Although they are minor, he assured me the remaining cameras would have better sanding and they would also black out the back side of the pinhole area to lessen flare.
He's also considering some sort of grooves or better way to get traction on the winding knobs.
He's very keen on making his cameras nice and functional.
The best part is he is listening to his customers and is not afraid of working with them!
Excellent!  If you had any reservations about the cameras or Elvis, just put them aside.  He's great!
How could you not be with a name like Elvis?   8)
All good here!!!!    :)
