Rather than post these in the 'FW Trip to Wales thread' I would create a bit of a photo essay from my efforts.
First morning there we made an early morning foray to Nash Point. It wasn't a spectacular dawn but I rather liked the cool blue feel to the breaking day.

As the colour drained from the early morning sky it was time to unleash the Pinhole!

The following morning was as dull as ditchwater so a trip to East Aberthaw Power Station was in order. The dull conditions were ideally suited to Portra 400 though.
Below is one of the power station's waste water outlets (Caisson). Bronica SQAi and Portra 400

A pinhole of the Caisson to finish off with.

My thanks to Steve, Moiz and Sandeha for their company over the weekend.

Beautiful set of photos, Paul.
Favourites are the pinholes - especially the still life against the church window. That said, the Portra shots are colourful in a subtle way that really suits the subject matter. Wish I'd been able to be there.

Great stuff Paul. The Nash Point pinholes are sublime.
-
seen some of these on your flickr stream already so you know I like them ;)
those stones with the water running over really has me going~~ the fluid ghostlike movements of the water pouring in and out is well contrasted by the gritty stone with its interesting shapes and forms.

Great stuff Paul, the pinholes came out a treat, it was a good weekend with some great locations.

Great stuff Paul. I need to pull my finger out and do mine now, Ramadan is over so no excuses anymore. At least I now have a bar to aim at :)
