What struck me is how simple it really is. And it had me wonder why Jobo machines are so complex and expensive?

I can just picture this fictional scene at the Wenn mansion:

Joe: Daddy, stop stealing my legos!
Ed: I'm not stealing them, I need them to build a special project.
Joe: Is it a firetruck? Or a spaceship?
Ed: No, it's for making a film developing machine.
Joe: Is it going to have rockets?
Ed: No Joe. It's going to have a little arm that picks up film in the solution and moves it to the next bath.
Joe: This is rubbish. It doesn't even fly. I want my lego back.
