Me first!!!
Hi everyone. Just back from a fantastic trip to Lithuania and Belarus. Took a 35mm Pentax SLR and a few rolls of APX (bought at last year's Photografica!). Shot a roll a day. First time I've used 35mm in a couple of years. Will get them processed asap, but in the meantime here are some more instants from a trip to Cornwall at Easter.

Great stuff, guys. Ed, your images remain me of impressionism and pointillism in art.

This is a couple of years since I shot. It is however the first print I have made in 23 years. Dried just yesterday after a long evening in a friend's darkroom on Tuesday.
Kowa Super 66, TMX, Caffenol. Printed on Foma multigrade, split contrast.

I love early weekends!
I shot this yesterday afternoon.
Pinhole of course! 8)

Lots of blacks, whites, and greys, and squares, and more pinholing - so I'm in company this week.

Some stonkers already from everyone! especially Ed's pola's, Dave's leaves, Geof's pano's and just luuurv Becky's pinhole!
Here's a trio of images taken back in Jan/Feb in my local woods, all made on my Agfa Super Isolette and some 30 year old Tri-X that someone gave me. There was a bit of base fog and they're very, very grainy but it seems to suit the conditions quite well!

Lithuania and Belorussia sound deliciously exotic, almost as Ed with a 35mm camera ;D waiting for those pics from former CCCP 8)
Two more shots from little Alma :'(

So it's my first post on filmwasters showing some images. Great pictures posted so far by all my forerunners, mostly black and white, nice!
I did some black and white (studio-) work today too. I used 4x5 paper negatives in my Graflex Speed Graphic, lots of fun and really such a fast workflow.
I contact-printed them onto 4x5 paper (Ilford Multigrade deluxe, used for the negs as well) and gave it a short selenium toning. Really liking the results.
I also did some wet contact printing (not scanned yet) and like the look too. Will post examples on the weekend.
-
Marvelous images every one!
-
Really like Paul's trees and Eirik's tower print.

stiffkey freshes (http://www.flickr.com/photos/grey_fish/8893664149/#) by Nick Moys (http://www.flickr.com/people/grey_fish/), on Flickr
Happy weekend.
-
There are some stunners on here this weekend. However, in no particular order of preference, the ones that caught my eye are Dave's "nymphs", Paul's "trees" (especially the second one) and Nick's "stiffkey freshes".
My efforts this week actually date back to the early 1980's and are from a box of assorted old slides I found when having a clear-out. Apologies for the dust and poor scans but, as these are just a few of the tens of thousands of slides (virtually all of which were "lost") I'm just delighted to see them again.
Probably shot with Olympus OM2n at that time.
-
Ed, very nice with that "digging for victory" looking forward to seeing the others. And I like that Mauricio's pinhole in Sao Paulo
-
Ed with a 35mm ???
Somehow, this sounds really wrong :P
But then again, it is the cheapest and fastest way to go (which is mainly why I stuck with the format).
-
A splash of colour from me - Mamiya RZ67 with Fuji Provia 400X:
-
Playing with the Polaroid 100 again. The first is a scan of the negative using Fujifilm 100C. The print was kind of interesting but underexposed. I like the tones in the negative better. The two black and whites are Fujifilm 3000B. I'm pleased with how it picks up highlights. Hopefully I'll have some good emulsion lifts and transfers soon.
-
Is it me or is the standard getting higher here? Really lovely images here this week.
Some spring flowers, from earlier in the season.
Mamiya 645e with 80mm f4 Macro lens. Provia 400 E-6

Mamiya 645! Yay! Love that camera. Lovely images, David.
Here is an image from the roll of expired Portra 400 taken with Olympus IS-1000.

The work in each one of these threads seems to get better week after week.

Since I haven't been out on photo-safari in a while, here are some old ones.
Shot at a junkyard about 40 miles out in the boondocks. Nikon N90s Tamaron 24mm I think it was Fuji 200.

One more, shot years ago under a weather condition called Hoar Frost. This time, NIkon F3HP with my now dead 5.8cm 1.4 Nikkor... wish I still had that lens...
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/cgarman/Artsy%20Fartsy/HoarFrost2-2copy.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/cgarman/media/Artsy%20Fartsy/HoarFrost2-2copy.jpg.html)
Loading up film canisters tonight and hoping to have some working negs by tomorrow evening!
Just checked the 'Bay for a Nikkor 5.8cm and now I really wish that lens hadn't died! Gonna be very expensive to replace if I feel the need.

very vintage Nikon with home built lens

Hey happy weekend everyone :) So many great photos this week!

A corker of an image Kenny

Kenny, that's beautiful.

Some late additions to an otherwise stellar thread--walkabout in the city yesterday with my trusty Yashica 44 and a roll of Efke 100. I really love this film, and it seems to like Rodinal.
-
Terry: love the mannequin. 'Nicely seen' as camera club judges say (I used to be in one for about 2 years)
-
Irv_b: Love the Scammell! Great shot
Well thank you kind sir!

Thank you Zapsnaps! I liked the brazen-ness of putting a shop-window mannequin right there in the street.

thanks for your encouraging words.
love all the b/w images this week with trees and Dianes love shack. :D

Kenny - brilliant shot. It should be in a gallery.
-
Fantastic shot, Kenny! Great colours.
Indeed, great light and comp 8)

Another fantastic weekend, everyone! Ed, Paul, Volker, just outstanding.
Squeaking one in before the weekend snaps shut. The upside of being able to hit the International Date Line with a rock. ;)
Still testing my new Canon EF-M, this time with a Yashica ML 50mm f/1.7 lens. Also still searching for the right image for the postcard exchange. Yikes! Tried stumbling through the woods, but neither of these made the cut.

Late to the party with some fresh off the drying clip shots. Shot with SQ-A and Foma 100 (yes I cropped, wondered what it would be like).
Speaking of Foma 100. I swear the 120 is different from the 35mm. My developer turned lime green! was kind of exciting actually. Green is my favourite colour.
