Great photo, Phil. The square format is growing on me. Here are a couple of my
shots with Yashica Mat 124G and Fuji Acros 100.
-
Two shots using Kodak infrared in a Pentax MX....the first is Breckland,Norfolk and the second Orwell Bridge,Suffolk
-
Quite right, and nice squares.
Suffered a bit in development, but a few from last weekend ... at Third Floor Gallery in Cardiff.

hello everyone
I've been on leave this week to paint the entire house, so it feels just like a weekend already, especially as all my last weekends have been painting too... few from me, 2 3000b in the home made polaroid, and one very expired polaroid shot from the polaroid 195.
so far my favs are geoffgeoffp tree and sandeha 4th portrait but no doubt there are more great ones to come.
ohh yeah, it is a bank holiday too!

I took the Harman Titan with me on a week's break in Malta.

Taken with my Sinomax Diana Clone ages ago... the image originally was really dark so I never really bothered posting. Also, I didn't switch the aperture lever properly so I ended up with the funny vignette on the left hand side.

I don't have to work tomorrow, so it's the weekend for me!
I'm a sucker for a picture with a cute cat in it.
Here's one of my 'happy accidents' from a Pentax K1000. Can't remember what film was loaded - either Kodak or Fuji 400. The film wasn't rewinding properly and I didn't realize it, so I opened the back of the camera and then slammed it shut again when I realized the film wasn't all in the canister. The result was inadvertently quite 'lomo'.
-
Love the accidents! Great photos!

I finally got to meet Bill Vaccaro in "persona con Holga" today after knowing him from way back in the "Toycamera" days.
Some of you know him as "outofcontxt" http://www.outofcontxt.com/ (http://www.outofcontxt.com/)
My contribution is a pinhole from today while out adventuring with Bill.
Homemade tin can pinhole, Harman Direct Positive paper dunky dunked in Caffenol.
-
Wow, this weekend is really shaping up and it's only Friday!
Limr - lovely accident. Reminds me very much of Saul Leiter's colour work.
Becky, super pinhole. Bill is a cracking photographer and although I have never met him we did speak on the phone once about an issue I had. He was very generous with his time and information.

ooh a good weekend so far
Love Phil's, as usual, I got to get back to the mid west one day...
Great colours Sapata! Andrej inspiring as usual, nice portraits Sandena.
An argyrotype from me, I'm getting there with different techniques to get a better black, without twisting the rest of the image too far.
I'm struggling with platinum at the moment, potential, but tricky...!

Chalky`s first is my favorite so far, dynamic and POlaroid together, what else can be demanded! ;D
-
Love Becky's limit marker, Rafael's moggie and Dave's Fat Boy.
Mine are from a local car show in a small village in Essex.
-
An amazing start to the weekend everyone.
In particular...
Phil - these weekend threads wouldn't be the same without you excellent contributions
geofgeof - loving the trees
Andrej - all excellent bu the tunnel is the stand out image
limr - one of my faves this week
Dave - masterful!
Paul (LD) - Super!, I'm a sucker for old cars
A bit of a sugar rush of images from me, all pinholes and, apart from the pier, have been taken on FW trips

I'm constantly impressed by the high level of quality in these weekend threads across such a wide range of formats, techniques, and subjects.
Here's a couple from the VSCCA races at Lime Rock last month. Both shot with my Canon P with Nikkor Q.C. 135mm f/3.5 on Tri-X.

great stuff Paul, the zero 'look' is quite different from the Titan, Obscura. As you say the vignette makes it.
-
Great shots all around. Like Paul said, what would we do without you Phil :) And Paul, those Zero 2000 shots are great! As always.
Here are a few shots back from January. Yashica Mat, Fomapan 100@400, Caffenol-C-L. I must say Fomapan pushes quite well. More shots at http://urbanhafnerphotography.com/blog/2013/5/24/week-4-leaving-france-for-good (http://urbanhafnerphotography.com/blog/2013/5/24/week-4-leaving-france-for-good)

Fantastic weekend.
Love Phil´s truck, Paul´s first pinhole, Peter´s Rollei shots, and Leon´s path.
Got to test run my DIY Polaview camera, and found a number of things that need correcting, first and foremost the bellows do not stand up to bright midday sun. But covering them up before drawing the darkslide at least enabled me to take me this, a slight tilt to get both foreground and shed in focus. The shed is indeed that wonky.

I was shooting 15 years old Portra 400 today. One film with Olympus IS-1000 and one with Ricoh Mirai 135.
When I developed the films I was very disappointed - negatives were thin and instead of the usual orange
mask I had brown one. I've got 3 more rolls of the film and I need an advice on how to expose and develop
them.
Here are several usable shots from today:

It's Leon's second shot that grabs me the most.

Congrats, Leon. Great looking images. Those Germans really knew how to make good cameras in the
fifties and sixties and ... I really love my Voigtläder Vitomatic IIa, but I don't have any medium format
compacts from the time. Note to self: "Browse those www.njuskalo.hr (http://www.njuskalo.hr) ads soon."
In fact I'll look it up now...
What do you think of this one for $40?
Incidentally, did you use yellow filter on the last shot?

Yglotte - it was a very quick trip - Massif de Chartreuse, short stay near Dompierre sur Bresbre (Abbaye des Sept Fons), after that some time in Jura, near Champagnole. Hopefully I'll be returning to France in the Autumn, I need to spend more time with my camera there..

Holiday weekend, so I get a day of reprieve from the weekend deadline. :)
A quickie from a couple of weekends ago, I believe this is from my second-to-last roll of Ferrania 200:

I'm a sucker for ghost signs.
Hopefully some Kentmere 100 scans this evening.

After a failed attempt last week with X-Ray film I researched a bit regarding development and gave it another go yesterday. Far from perfect, but a step in the right direction. I just need to refine the development process a bit more and find a way to handle the super-scratch-prone (can I claim artistic intent for scratches? No? Fair enough) emulsion far gentler.

Incidentally, did you use yellow filter on the last shot?
I did yes - BUT, well controlled development and exposure will always help with skies things too. This shot (an old one) was taken without a filter at all - just good development and careful burning.

Great shot and darkroom technique.

leon, lovely photos! it's a treat having you join in the weekend thread :)
and as expected, your darkroom provess shines again! what would you say one needs to think about when exposing to give the clouds a nice separation?
jack johnson and tintin, I really like your straight on shots here~

Harman Direct Positive Paper in 4x5 Anniversary Speed Graphic, Fujinon 135-f/5.6 lens.
Due to the deep shadows in the print, my scanner has a problem rendering these direct positive images without lots of noise. I ended up photographing this print using my Lumix G5, then processed the file in raw with some adjustment to the blue channel curves for a faux toned image. Photographing the glossy paper is difficult, even with a copy stand, because the subtle curves of the paper cause inevitable reflections; I had to angle the print relative to the G5's focal plane to reduce reflections, which also gave me more shallow DOF than the print actually has.

That's beautiful, JoeV. I love deep blacks in a photo.
