Hi Guys
Following on from the few videos posted by Francois recently I thought I might start a thread where we could add some links to any photography (do I need to specify film?) videos anyone comes across that may be of interest.
Here's one I stumbled upon recently:
Jonathan Stead - Paper Negatives on Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/65855682)

I've watched this short 80s BBC documentary on the late Raymond Moore a couple of times. (This is part one of three.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H_nnbn5_ME (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H_nnbn5_ME)
I've found his work very inspirational and just wish he was given more attention, though sadly there are issues I believe with access to his archive.
More information here;

One of my favourites - Restlicht (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xHUn5E1NNo#ws)
(here's a link to a part of my playlist thing, there are more that I return to quite often...)

Something not quite right, here....
Moizak's video just isn't visible and I get a message that the link Andrej posted isn't correct, so the computer can't run it.
Mike's YouTube link works fine.
-
Better now?
I can see Moziak's video OK.

Cheers Andrej - working fine.
I still can't see Moizak's video - just a big gap between text at top and bottom of his message. I've just got a new iMac (old 'puter ancient and knackered) so could be some compatibility issue from my end (though I've no idea how to fix if that is the case) :o
-
I can't see the video itself on my iPad, but the link below it still works. Nice video, thanks for posting.

Might be old news but the Vivian Maier documentary is supposed to be released sometime this year.

wow! If that's real, that's got to be the most amazing inspiration thus far.
-
There's also this one from Mark Cohen. Though I don't call it photographic inspiration as much as how to have either lots of guts or a black eye ::)

Nice videos, really liked the one from Trente Park, so much to learn about composition, loved the ones about dead animals on the road.

Great videos!
This one is especially great because I just got the book as a (late) birthday present :)

I love the voice, the ideas, and the logic.
Henri Cartier-Bresson - The Decisive Moment (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MW7I3GBdsBw#)
There was a better version on Vimeo last year but it seems to have gone.

Photographer William Clift about his recent book Shiprock & Mt. Saint Michelle: http://portal.knme.org/video/2364995684 (http://portal.knme.org/video/2364995684) - watch between 02:00 - 10:30min.

Now, this one is very different than all the other movies. It's not an interview but a feel good movie on the preciousness of photography.
We too often forget that photography is a privilege and a gift.

The video I mentioned earlier with William Clift is now on youtube also - simpler to watch.

I just stumbled upon this documentation and thought it might be of interest for someone. Unfortunately it is only available in German/French since it is a production of ARTE.
http://videos.arte.tv/de/videos/kenia-im-fokus-eines-strassenfotografen--7541602.html (http://videos.arte.tv/de/videos/kenia-im-fokus-eines-strassenfotografen--7541602.html)
It is about a "street photographer" in Kenya. As a profession to make a living - not in the fancy artistic meaning of shooting strangers. It might not be utterly inspirational but I was amazed because I expected just another video about street photography and couldn't stop watching it.

I still have a few months left to get my act together then. Rogovin started out at age 48. What a man! Really moved me.

Why Art Saves Lives (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z16jsfZZ69Q#)

I'm ploughing through these - thanks to all who posted - but the ones which really knocked me out where the blind chap Pete Eckert and the LA initiative, Why Art Saves Lives. if you only have time to watch two of these videos, please make it these two.
Both are very thought provoking. Don't really know what else to add. Thoughts, fellow FWs?

There's a rare intimacy to his photography and, well, you see why.

Watching it now. I have five years to go. My wife high-fived me. :)

A restless soul if there ever was one.

When I see things like that, I always wonder what these people make a living from?

If you're in a silly mood, DigitalRev TV on YouTube intermittently goes analog:
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=analogrev (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=analogrev)
The Pro Photographer with Crappy Camera challenges are fun, too, and at least one of those is analog. Think Top Gear with cameras.

Nah! they never managed to be as bombastic as Clarkson.

Reviving an old thread.
Here's the story of Flo Fox.
A street photographer who really doesn't stop at anything!
She's got Multiple Sclerosis, is paralyzed, is blind in one eye, has a degenerative disease in the other, has lung cancer and yet keeps on photographing the streets of NYC
