Some tasters for you (stickers badly applied by me - are now removed ....).  Available after Easter. Podcast to come ....

5x4, comes with 10 sheets of paper, 10 sheets of FB DPP and 10 sheets of film. Expect a range of colours to be available, and maybe (maybe) an alternative diffuse clear perspex back to use for contact printing .... (maybe)

So... presumably this has to be preloaded with a sheet and then unloaded after the shot? i.e. no film holders?

And there I'd been waiting for a smaller roll film version of the Titan!

Anyway, still look forward to finding out more!

diffuse clear perspex back to use for contact printing sounds sweeet

Leon left out the MOST IMPORTANT detail....the two sections of the camera are held together by magnets. So, when you push the two sections together you can stop just before they join and watch the pieces slide together as the magnets work their magic. It feels AWESOME in the hand when you do that.

 8) 8) 8)

Anyway, it's a pretty cool piece of kit which is designed to work equally well for lefties and right-handers (the 'shutter' swings both ways) and I really love the fact that no darkslides are required.

Game on, Ilford!

Look, even if you have no intention of using it, it's worth having. :) It slips  together much like an iphone box does. 8) I'm gonna get one and just open and close it. :o

It's that good! ;D

There is definately something special about a well-made mechanical camera, you almost don't need to put film in it!
I want one too.

I was sold also... a 5x4 with no fiddly darkslides.

If anyone's up to play a prank on Leon, I have a bunch of 4lbs pull neodymium magnets we could put in the camera ;)

this looks charming...and I'm all about magnets, so am curious to see one in the flesh.

Francois, I have those same magnets...I also have blood blisters from playing with others....

Maybe the Easter bunny will leave one in my basket...  ;)

Paper?  Film?  It looks like it should come with cookies in it.

Life imitating art, and all that.   ;D

I'd like a red one, please - let's SHOUT about using film. Although I think I'd get quite a lot of attention even using a standard issue black one.

I just hope mine arrives in time for World Pinhole Day
