Want to place my order tonight. ... I personally am drawn to the white iPad. It's "pretty". But I'm not sure that the white bezel wouldn't be a distraction when viewing photos and art on the screen. Anyone have the white one (or opted not to get the white one for that reason)?

Does it really matter, if you put it in a case?
Mine is black but in the case the bezel, doesn't show except around the home button and camera.

I have a white one! Though i never really get to use it since my girlfriend is always on Pintrest with it.

Nexus 10 in Black is my choice.

I do have a black iPad3, just didn't think white would go well with all my film cameras.
I do have a MacBookAir and MacBookPro. Air has silver frame around the display where Pro has black frame. If I had to compare the two, I must say the Pro with black frame is less distracting for photo viewing/editing. You don't really notice it unless it's side by side though.

I have used both. For my eyes I like the white as there is not such contrast between it and the screen when I am using it as an ereader. (I prefer an e-ink device for reading books - when I can't get a paper copy - as it is best on the eyes). Anyhow myself a d a coworker think the white is easier to read from but YMMV.

I've never been so indecisive in all of my life! I settle on the white and two minutes later I question it and think that I should go with black. Some apps look better to me with the white bezel (general web surfing, readers, etc) but that white bezel seems to be distracting when I'm looking at images of the ipad with a video or photo that fills the screen as well as for any app that has a dark background.
Phil - do you have a white one?

My wife has a white iPad mine is black but i'm happy using either.

I just placed my order for a white one! I suppose I'm a traditionalist and to me, when I think of Apple products I think white. Thanks for all the feedback everyone!

My iPhone 16Gb is black with a black protective cover. Very understated. Mind you, if I were getting a new phone, I'd get a Samsung Galaxy III as I agree with Leon - Android is the way to go. Why invest in a "closed" technology...??
