Is anyone in here using http://www.000webhost.com/ (http://www.000webhost.com/)?
My UK webserver membership expired and I've just signed... just wonder if any good :)
-
never heard of it. looks okay at first glance and after reading the not oh my gosh, 5 out of 5 stars!! -comments it seems like it is okay for being free. some commented on experiencing downtime but I'd expect atleast some of that.

It all seems to good to be truth but I'll be living the experience since I can't afford to pay for another webhost for "picturenoise". I've changed the nameservers so I'm just waiting the 24-48 to propagate and hopefully the website will be live again.
-
well good luck with it and report back if it works out all right. I'm interested in putting up something soonish :)
-
Right! Just uploaded the site via FTP and all working as if nothing had happen... so far seems to be a good deal!
God... there must be a catch, it's free!!

On many free sites, they limit the monthly bandwidth usage for visitors.

I did use them for a short while. Can't remember what the problem was and why I moved. Could have been a lack of SSI support which I use a lot.

Indeed Francois... in this case my limit is 100 GB month, not sure if it's a lot but we're not talking about a heavy traffic website :)

if your site gets busier it could be a limitation! but is perfect to get the site
up and running on while you develop it and for a free service it has the
essentials like, backup, 5 e-mail accounts, Control panel.
Their paid option is good value too tbh!
Myself and my brother use > http://www.galaxygig.com/?lang=en&action=webhosting (http://www.galaxygig.com/?lang=en&action=webhosting)
We both design websites so we have a lot to host, no probs with them at all.
anyway I really like your site Mauricio ;)
