Curse you. Just when I say I don't need any more cute little cameras, someone points out something that I never knew about. That is insanely cute. I gotta have one. It would be a nice pal to my PEN. Sorry for cursing a stranger ;-)
-
First time I see one of those.
Looks like it's a fixed focus... probably pretty short focal length too.
-
I'm such a sucker for half-frames! This one has now been officially added to my ever-growing list of cameras to seek out. Nice!
-
This one seems to be in awesome condition!
It was on my list while ago when I got bitten by the half-frame mosquito fever... but ended up getting a Pen and a also cute Fujica Drive.
-
Nice red button.
-
they look nice together~
hehe, I want a nice carry around half frame ;D
-
I have a Fujica Drive, too. But it's bigger and heavier than my Olympus mju II.
-
Now that I can look at them on a proper screen: Wow, that's a cute camera! Actually, I wouldn't mind having either of them ;)

Not half bad (bad joke there)...
I think you know why it's not recommended to put a 36 exposure roll in these ;D
-
Beautiful little camera and beautiful little frames. Very clean scans. I don't get that clean scans
from my Cosina CT1 Super. May I ask what scanner have you used Mind the Mix?

Half-frame double the risk!
I never heard about the risk shooting 36 rolls, but now you have mentioned that, I felt a lot of resistance when winding the film on the last 36 exposures roll. Is something related to that?

Thank you! I scan with the Epson V600 + Epson scan software. I tried VueSacan but the results are not better than the Epson. I use only low sharpen in settings.
-
Actually, the thing with 36 exposures has more to do with the amount of time it takes to finish a roll than the camera itself.
Using 36 exp. rolls, you can go on a 4 rolls a year diet very easily ::)

You're welcome! :) I've got Canon 9000f which is comparable quality wise with Epson V600, but I don't get such clean scans.
How do you fight dust? By getting clean negatives to start with or by using ICE and heavy PP?

I just use a small brush to clean up the negatives and and the glass of the scanner. NO ICE at all and.
PP for the small particles but not more than a few minutes pero image, if necessary.

Just a brush? What kind of a brush it is? Anti-static I presume.

Yep, Anti-static brush, the same I use on my lenses.

Just a small flash?
I was expecting a massive potato masher with that tiny camera ;D
-
I can only repeat myself: "Beautiful little camera and beautiful little frames."

You got a point here! Next time I'll use my -not so massive- Metz 32 CT-7 potato masher

As a half frame camera the Mimy is a great option, really small and more than acceptable quality. The Olympus PEN is the higher in his class but you won't regret with this little camera

I was there Christopher!
