Bye-bye some Velvia:

Never really liked it as a film but it's always sad to to see another go.

Velvia 100 is still going I see.

And Velvia 50 is still being produced, for now, in 35mm and 120. Velvia 100F was lousy stuff anyway.
(trying to look on the saturated side)

How disappointing...I actually liked 100F, although I didn't use it much. I'm getting more and more worried that E6 processing won't be a thing after another two or three years.

I didn't realize 35mm Reala is gone as well until I read the article. Is there a comprehensive list of which Fuji films/formats have been lost over the last couple of years?
I'm still sad about Ferrania, but I may be alone in that. On the upside, I hope to try Kentmere in the near future.

I share this worry. I aim to get a lot of slide film shot in the next few years, so that later in life I can show the negatives to unbelieving young people who will think that it really is witchcraft, that you could take pictures by shining light onto some plastic stuff and it would produce these tiny little perfect miniature images with no computer involved at any stage.

I don't use it as much as I should but theres really nothing that looks quite like velvia 50, probably the best color film on the market for non people shots in my over-saturated opinion. Never tried the stuff in 4x5 since I just got my first LF camera a few months ago, might have to get a 20 pack just so I can be devastated when its finally gone ;) Really glad they're keeping the 35 and 120 around for the time being. Isn't the 100 pretty similar to the 50 anyhow? Never really used it since the 50 is so nice.
