Yeah.....I have no idea what it means either, but I saw this gem on a website this morning and thought I'd share:
"Fully open, the bokeh is sometimes rather restless (http://galactinus.net/vilva/retro/eos350d_aviar_f45.html)"
-
I reckon it's a very poor attempt at a euphemism :-\ He needs to pop the kit lens back on, that'll cure it and then he can send the lens to someone here who will attach it to a nice film camera.
-
I may need a cup of tea and a good lie down after that. :o :o
-
Nope, you've entirely lost me! ???
-
I think he meant distracting. ;D
-
Maybe he invented Bokeh animation.............. I have no idea.
But he does have a nice collection of older lenses that I for sure would like to put on my Nikon!
-
I know Veijo from the Manual Focus Forum and he's very knowledgeable on old glass and widely known to stick old lenses on anything to create an image
-
I haven't been there in ages!
-
Well, he certainly puts together a comprehensive page on each of the lenses he tries out. Good for him. Maybe he'd like to buy the Cooke Aviar that I'm selling somewhere online (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330715947351?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649) ;) ;) ;) (shhh)
That phrase he used is pretty weird though!

Now that's one ugly looking camera. I like Tichy's camera better ;-D

Oh my God Gregor... I don't think I've ever seen anything like it :o I could get tetanus just by using it!!
-
Both if those ideas are kinda wicked.
Gregor with some paint and a little makeover it might go as a Leica M9 on ebay? :P
