Pentax ME Super, Fuji something. The smell of varnish and fish will now cling to you for a while ... ;D

Looks like Wales has changed a bit since I was last there. Surely it rains in Wales?
I took a stroll round the village today - as I usually do when it's not gale force winds and torrential rain. Met Hector on the way who was having problem with his quad. Since the lambs are already popping out into the world, he needs his quad to get about his extensive croft. Murdo [no, the other one!] came along on his quad to help and I left them to it.
But not before I snapped them up with the Kiev II loaded with Fuji1600.
-
I too took a stroll, needed to use up a few frames to get the film developed. Hound of course came along and I liked the look of his shadow amongst the trees.
-
Holga and some expired color through my bedroom window...at a house I stay at in Texas.
New Mexico is still brown!
-
love those shots sandeha! I wish I had something to contribute but yet again I don't have cash to develop new stuff. Both my parents suggested I make the attic into a darkroom... so Iam making plans so I can make big beautiful prints and scan those instead :-)
-
After the hustle and bustle of Southwold (I'm from the country!), on Sunday I headed up to the North Norfolk coast and the quiet of Salthouse beach to finish the roll of FP4 left in my Rolleicord.
Happy weekend all.

-
Another from a batch of test shots I took with various homemade lenses last year, only just getting round to developing.
-
Wonderful start to the weekend!
Sandeha - can almost feel the heat and smell the freshly sawn wood
Andrea - as always a wonderful slice of island life
Harvey - now that's spooky!
Becky - love your bedroom view, reminds me more of Tuscany then Texas
Nick - adore the simplicity of no.1
Phil - we are not worthy!!!
Mauricio - reminds me of the colour from our old Sony Trinitron
Euge - stunning colour! just a bit curious as to why the vegetable seller is holding a femur bone... :D
SUZI - my fave so far... the girl looking round is magical
Paul

I went out walking in my favorite woods again, this time with a roll of my favorite film (Portra NC) in the Ikoflex.

You'd do well sending this to the Fortean Times Diane ;)
-
it does get a bit windy up on the prairie! :)

Two Polas fuji fp100b (I had been longing for some time to shoot b&w with the Polaroid). Shot today, little Alma was doing her daily nap so I went to the market area which was, as usual a tour de force many people around asking for Polas and finally the police or somebody proxy to it kindly driving me out of the market areas... >:( and of course we had a Haboob (sand storm) over us, cameras were not too keen to it but I have decided that I still gonna shoot when Haboobs are over us (which is happening almost weekly :o ) on my way back home the taxi-van who was driving me back went out of fuel :P :D Nice shooting everybody!
-
Carlos: love those two.
2 shots made in London from me. Shame they don't design cars like that Citroen anymore. Cars (and cameras) from that era had some class.
-
great stuff from everyone.
Here are some trees:

That is the way to present trees - and the right time of year for it, too, while buds are still small.

Not very active recently but there is a collection of films building up awaiting developing. These are from a roll of Rollei Retro that I processed last nigh. Taken on the Recesky TLR and developed in LC29

Thil, man, that car! Citroen of that era had class. Speaking of class, Leon, that is beautiful and Ian, beautiful work.
-
Having been mostly inactive for a while now, I got dragged out of the house to go to a park I didn't even know about. Fantastic place! I brought both the Instax and my newly loved Diana F+. Here are some of the Instax shots I got.

Thil... the car shot is brilliant... the building behind makes the picture even better!

I've been a bit swamped with work recently so I haven't had a chance to look in on the forum, good to see you're all still here. ;)
I have just about managed to keep my stranger project ticking over.

Nigel, this looks fantastic, I really like the second one, keep going, keep going!!! ;D
-
Nigel, that's a mojo to keep rolling. Great samples.
-
Nigel, the second one is amazing, a lovely portrait.
-
I'll say it again, Nigel, that portrait of Ellie is stunning. Has she seen it yet?
-
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.
-
these are supercool Nigel - really very good.
-
to echo the others, Nigel, that portrait of the girl is REALLY nice!!!
-
Many glorious shots on here this weekend. A few faves:
- Sandeha's colour shots
- Suzi's girl on a scooter
- Leon's trees
- Nigel's girl "stranger"
A couple from last weekend's trip to Southwold from me. Mamiya 7, 65mm lens, Kodak Tri-X and processed via Silver Efex Pro for the sepia and vignettes...
-
Great stuff, Nigel. So glad to see that you are plugging away at the project.

going by that look, I'd say she's a daddy's girl!
She's adorable!
-
A double exposure (by accident, mixed up those filmholders) of my son.

Damiand, both the girl and the pic are so wonderful!
-
I have some to share both taken during stroll last weekend round a country park.

pinhole image on film..
and BTW....Britt, that double exposure is wonderful!!
-
Always a lovely selection here. Lovely work.
Mr Windy got me this self-assembly plastic TLR which I managed to put together and have a spring and a screw left over - but it works albeit with light leaks [gaffer tape on the way] Take off the front plastic that hold the lens in place and it is a really interesting effect!
Polypan-f
Nothing other than de-spot the film a bit :-)
-
Sapata and Diane, nice ones!

My little Olympus XA2 seems quite the trooper. For less than £20 (including the flash) I'm pleasantly surprised that it has passed the pocket test. ;)

a bit late but here's two from me, the first trying out paper negative in my holga and then another paper negative in a little minty box.
I'm having some fun experimenting lately in the darkroom, the holga shot is slightly solarised and I kept the negatives colour to the positive.

liking diane's ghostly laundry and francois, it feels like you're really working the perspective on those shots!
thil's first blows me away. that person way off in the shot really fills up the scene! that's a shot I'd love seeing on paper~
sandeha, good shot that one with the girls. very much in the moment
-
Some really great inspiring stuff this weekend.. I love your paper negative Holga shot jojonas!
;D
-
thanks suzi :) I'll be sure to try it again~
-
Agree with Suzi, those are great, Jojonas!
-
OK, I finally started scanning the shots I got from the nice Diana F+ I got in the Share the love thread.
I had never thought the mask would shrink the view so much!
I also didn't think Shanghai film was that curly! My printfile sheet looks like a burrito!
But I'm pretty happy with the results. Nice blur, good contrast, soft enough focus. Just plain wow. Next roll will be at the full 6x6 size. It's going to make it so much easier to compose the shots!
Here are two from it :)

Peter, I like this very much.
Indeed, darkness is underrated.
-
JoJonus - Very cool, as is Hook's smoker.
-
Thanks for the darkness appreciation. :)
Started a new series yesterday and I'm a bit confused about this new girl's look -- she can look rather severe and rather wide-eyed, so I had these two shots and figured I'd use one or the other once I figured out who she was. Then I had them both up and rather liked how they looked together. Then thought of 60s split-screen movies. Anyway...
