I read a similiar article via aperture or was it IPC? Can't recall.
Seems the peeps in the know are calling for a fine art monochrome revolution.
Matter of fact, the one thing I forgot to include in my Photo LA round up in the articles section was that there was an impressive showing of B&W at Photo LA this year--Contemporary and vintage.
Last year, there wasn't nearly as much B&W.
Seemed like it was 90-95% color last year, whereas this year it was possibly 40% B&W.
Much like most of you, I couldn't be happier about the resurgence of B&W in the eyes of the art world.
