At the weekend we removed the East Midland Monochrome Group’s travelling exhibition from Stanford Art Centre where it had been open to the public for three weeks. I was amazed, but gratified to be told by the curator that their door counter showed that over 7,500 people had viewed it.

We don't bother with offering prints for sale, it's normally a waste of effort; but next time I may stand at the door with a collection tin.

We've never had door counters at any of our venues, so we never knew how many visitors we had. They have asked us back next year, which is also nice.
