great question .... but one I cant answer.  I'll wait for the less technically disabled amongst us to get back to yo on that one.  If we dont, then  we definitely need one/some

Very good question and something I'd be keen to have.

Anyone out there know how to do this?

Ed? Skj?

I'm not sure if this is the kind of thing that would work for people but I did a quick link/image and placed it on my blog (http://offwhite.my-expressions.com/) (beneath my picture at the bottom right hand corner).

I'm not sure if that will save anyone any time or if I'm stepping on anyone's toes here. I'm happy to remove it immediately.

This is how I got it there - I have the filwasters logo (pinched from the front page). It can be downloaded here: http://my-expressions.com/up_media/4259/grab2.jpg

Then in my blog configuration I typed

<H1 ALIGN=center><a href ="http://www.filmwasters.com"> <img src="http://my-expressions.com/up_media/4259/grab2.jpg" border=1> </a></H1>

You can either use the exact code in your blog config, or copy the filmwasters image logo to your own webspace and change the link.

As I say, if I'm stepping on anyones toes (whoever designed the site and forum) then I'll remove it.

You could also make a button-style image here (http://kalsey.com/tools/buttonmaker/). For example,

These are great!

Hey Dervaun, how do you link yourself up on your blog after you make that button?

Do you need to establish a url for the pic, then post the code in the html within your blog ?

Sorry--I'm slightly html challenged. If you walk me through it once, I'll get it. But all that code stuff merged with graphics confuses me prior to explanation.

Thanks!

Ohhh derevaun - that's a great looking button! If its OK to use - I've updated the link on my blogĀ  ;D

Anyone can use this. Just copy and paste the following into your blog config (I use expressions and put it into my "text area")

<H1 ALIGN=center><a href ="http://www.filmwasters.com"> <img src="http://my-expressions.com/up_media/4259/filmwasters.png" border=1> </a></H1>

Dave's code will do it. After making the button, it needs to be uploaded to a server (I saved it to my harddrive and then FTPd it to my blog site). Then link it like Dave did: <a><img /></a>. It's a tiny file but it does generate traffic that might be a concern for low bandwidth hosting plans, and some hosts prevent single image linking. If the image file were located here somewhere, the traffic would come here, but it's generally inconsequential.

Guys, I put the (http://filmwasters.com/site-images/filmwasters.png) online at http://filmwasters.com/site-images/filmwasters.png

It's going to stay there for as long as we're here so link to it with confidence.
