Well today is officially the first day of autumn so if I may, I'd like to take this opportunity to post my first picture on this wonderful forum.
Just to remind us of the good old days of summer sunshine I have a snap of Luskentyre beach on the Isle of Harris, Western Isles of Scotland. This beach was voted in some newspaper or other as one of the Top 10 beaches in the world.
This was taken last week using a Kodak Box Brownie 620 Model C on Tri-X 400 120 roll film, developed in T-Max developer 1+4 for 6 minutes.

Hi all.
That is a lovely picture Mr leica man, would like to go walking there myself.
from me there is a portrait of my dad taken with praktica bc-1 and a 50mm lens, ilford very expired iso400 film, and a picture of the bench in my parents garden, polaroid 195 and chocolate film.
good weekends everyone

Also of this past week, some shots at a gallery photo talk (the wonderful Laura El-Tantawy discussing her work in the "Arab Revolutions" exhibition at Third Floor Gallery, Cardiff) and a trip to a scrapyard.

Wow, we are off and running early this week.
Hasselblad swc/m Kodak bwcn in Kansas
-
I like the bench very much Chalky!
-
If only I could convince my employer that weekends start on Thursdays!
Love Mr Leica Man's beach and Phil's railroad scene.
A couple of Polaroid chocolates from last weekend's walking trip to the Peak District from me, plus some seed heads on Polaroid 664 nearer to home.
Great weekend to all.
Nick

Woah! Yet another cracker of a start to the week.
- Mr Leica Man (a man after my own heart, no doubt) a wonderful Box Brownie shot
- Chalky, that photo of your dad is a true masterpiece. Wish my dad was around to take such a photo.
- Sandeha, a lovely set. Beautiful lassie but my fave is the cast off wheel rims
- Phil B, a very moody shot
- Grey Fish, the Peak District is very close to my home town of Stockport and I love the colours and textures you created.
- Aoluain, probably the best harbour scene I've seen for a very long time. Love the light and colours.
My entries this week are a couple of shots from the Ridgeway walk converted to B&W using Silver Efex Pro (from Provia 100) taken on the Hasselblad 500c/m and using the 40mm lens.
-
Like the middle distance on the first one LD.
Two Cuba's from the modified Coronet Commander 2 loaded with cheapo Shanghai GP3 100 and dipped in RO9.
-
second share of some photos at a market my wife and I frequently go to. Using a Pentax Spotmatic and Lucky Super Color 200 film.
-
have a good one peoples!

each weekend we set the bar a little higher...
very strong showing so far.
Can't pick a favorite but I especially like Alan's colourful boats!
One from me done with the Nikon F4...it's been a while since I ran a roll through it, and it's a joy to use...even though it's quite the hefty handful!
-
Wow, Filmwaster are easy trigger people!!! ;D Lots of energy.
So fare these hold my attention:
Patrick's Polas
Chalky's dad portrait, I wish I had shot such a beautiful portrait of my Dad
Grey Fish chocoroids, fantastic
Miles havana shot... I can feel the heat
Two polas 108 from my side, back from Kuala Lumpur, a trip to be forgotten!! :D but now I am back to Manila, which looks better than ever and to my nice apartment..
-
Snap...
-
made some saltprints of glass plates found on a fleamarket, probably "deleted" plates from an early photographer because 90 % is not sharp, still funny to see whats coming out...
-
pdewolff--those are wonderful.
-
Hi Leica Man, are Lewis Photographica (continuing) making a filmwasters take over bid ;)

I must try those....are they very difficult?
-

-
Been looking through and scanning some old negatives this week.
Mike
-
Lots of great stuff as it is expected. But I specially dig Sean's color pictures and Mike's penguin. Love penguins :D
-
Thought I'd cling on to summer with a little infrared from the garden.
-
Love the Polaroids :)
Just finished a 4 day wild camp on Dartmoor, so a quick Holga pic from the trip:
(http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6086/6104292458_b5ccd691cf.jpg) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/zzpza/6104292458/)

And I just bought an EOS 1N, so a test pic from that:

-
zzpa, that EOS1 is working nicely!
Two portraits, Rollei and Tmax400, that I thought was quite forgiving about tonal latitude, but may be not...
-
chalky, i like that portrait of your dad.
this is a faux harris shutter self portrait from 2007. probably velvia 50.
-
Thanks for the comment Late Developer, glad you like it !!
This was taken last weekend with the GW690 at Lahinch, Co Clare ireland.
-
so beautiful!!
-
Nothing really to post this week but thanks to everyone else who did for mucho inspiration! The glass plate prints from pdewolff were lucky to have survived – there are tales of plates having the emulsion scraped off and being re-used for greenhouse panes!
I particularly enjoyed Patrick Ryan’s beach portrait although I did wonder how close the bottom of the Rollei was to the water…
-
Thanks Dave!

What a great first shot to start a weekend thread. Too much great stuff to mention already, but love that Ektar... A few friends traversed the typhoon ravaged hills of Tochigi to explore an abandoned limestone mine. Just as we were finishing one of the miners wandered past and wondered what we were doing, as he explained to us his history he kindly posed.
A pleasant man who told us he was on the way to the thirty-year reunion of his limestone mine retirement.
Polaroid 600SE, expired Type-665.
See ya! Skj.
-
This is great, Skorj.
-
Great stuff indeed. Skorji, once again.....wow.
Nothing from me, struggling on with a trapped nerve in my back. As such no picture taking or scanning.
If any of the filmwasters are qualified physiotherapists or back doctors please feel free to send me some advice! Agony
-
I'm getting the speed graphic close to where I want it to be. This was a test with a yellow filter, 3x4 Efke 100 developed in Rodinal at 1:50 for ten minutes

Funnily enough have been doing some stretches this afternoon, feeling more human again for the first time in a month.

Absolutely awesomely inspiring stuff. I hope I can keep up in coming weeks! 180 metres of Polypan F to play with so the old Leica II is coming into action again (as well as another even older box brownie!). I love this forum.
-
Nice Pictures, Peter - but that last one looks like one seriously "wasted" piece of film. Ouch......!! :o
-
Peter, those pano shots are awesome! I'd love to have one of those Horizon cameras...
-
my effort for this week, been doing some photos with the gang from a local group that helps through art projects people with mental disabilities. The plan is to make an exhibition/display of these images together with the group work exhibited during a White Night (or Nuit Blanche) event to be held here in October

Peter- so envious of that pano camera! I love that second photo, but that chewed up film...oh my!

-
Many thanks LD and Astrobeck
-
third image is killer for me! Love it!

what can I say, awesome as always, too much awesome to pick any faves I think ;D
just a few mamiroids from a fund raiser music day at my local (I say music day and not gig as the music went on all day and travelled from pub to pub on the back of a pickup) all in aid of a local music legend Roy De-wired who sadly died of lung cancer a few years back.
I forget if I have posted these anywere else this week so will just put them here.
