Title: Philip-Lorca di Corcia's "Roids" Exhibition
Post by: thil on May 21, 2011, 07:59:28 PM
Hi Filmwasters,

I've just been to this fantastic exhibition by Philip-Lorca di Corcia. It's a collection of 100 or so Polaroid test prints made during his various projects. They are displayed in a single line on a metal base around the gallery walls. The gallery also has a display copy of his book "Eleven" which features many of the final results of these test prints but to be honest I prefer the little Polaroids  ;).
It's at the Spruth Magers gallery in London (near New Bonds Street). Here's what it looks like:

Have a nice weekend.

Well, I was not very familiar with Lorca's work. I reckon I had seen some of his pictures but did not make the link with him. Here is some of his work. The ones I like the most are the "art" ones.
