Let the images begin....
-
Some shots from a lost Hong Kong roll that I didn't even know that I had. I shot so much over there that I forgot about these !!!
-
an older scan of some infrared from a weekend spent in Texas.
K1000 and ifrared film..which I love, even though it's a bit cranky to fiddle with.
-
Hasselblad 501cm and Fuji 160C - Texas/Oklahoma border
-
As we started with art I thought I'd contribute this. EOS5 on TriX.
-
Harvey that's a strange combination of things going on in that shot, but I've finally decided that dog is a painting. Am I right?
-
Yep Nigel, it's a painting and the dog was the reason I liked it, looking like it's eating off the car. There are a couple more on the same building. The pictures weren't as good in B&W but it's clever art. I ought to use colour film more or just carry two cameras! :)
-
Becky, that is inspiring! Really like the mood.
From my side I am through one of tese periods where I am struggling to get some inspiration... :'( This is like a rolleicoster!!
With the Pentax 67, one type of pictures I usually do not take (with no persons). Used tripod MLU and cable...
-
What an eclectic weekend thread! I like everything so far, and for wildly different reasons: Phil and Beck's different takes on Texas, Mil's lost Hong Kong and Harvey's very strange painted wall shots, esp the last one with the real person in the foreground..
I had a bunch of fun guest lecturing in a friend's photo class on Monday, showing how to develop in coffee. There are these strange metallic orbs on our campus (don't ask why) and I finally found out what they're for--to reflect images! (Foma 100 in caffenol-c, Ikoflex)
The rest of my shots today are from a walkabout I did this evening after four days of rain. (Tri-X in Rodinal at 1:40 for 11 minutes; Exakta VXIIb with a Meyer 105mm)
-
Fantastic images, as ever. Highlights (for me) are Becky's and Harvey's - so far...
Here's a couple from an early morning stroll a few years back when I had my old M6 and some Tri-X
-

Haven't been around for a while but have still been wasting film. Here's a couple of pinholes taken on a recent trip to Dungeness.

What a fabulous collection of images this week..(not unlike the previous weeks :<))
this from my second day working with paper in my pinhole camera..I really like working with this stuff!...
two boys fishing at the park where I work..they wanted to show off their catch! didn't get the part about "hold still"...
-
Diane, that´s a real beauty. Really like it ;D
Paul, that second one, it has a classy touch
More, three Polas edited in some way or another. First slightly cropped, second contrast augmented, third just like it was with an orange b&w filter on my Pola 195 >:(
-
Carlos: First one's very nice. Has a Mid Century International Modern look to it :)
-
Diane, aren't you glad that they didn't hold still?
-
Terry,...yes, I rather like it this way!..prolly couldn't get that kind of shot again!
-
Beautiful pinholes, Paul.
I've been lurking more than contributing these last two months--work, work, work--but I have been wasting film. Much of this film awaits developing but these two shots came from a roll of Fujicolor 100 that was shot over the last week and processed (very well, thank you CVS pharmacy) just yesterday.
I have noticed that dogs often yawn when asked to do something that they don't care to do, like "wait while I take your picture".
-
Carlos, the first two are wonderful.
Paul, beautiful pinholes.
-
Paul - I recognise that first boat ... It's Moonraker. Looks like quite a few things have been stolen off the the boat over the years .....

My first FP-100B peel-apart instant shot! Shot with my brand new, straight out of the dusty, faded packaging Polaroid Colorpack II. I already love shooting with this stuff! It's so magical.

Congratulations, fuji 100b is indeed a great film. Nice first shot!
-
Mil Mascaras - Oh how I love the tones and visual textures in your first one!!
Paul, Leon - those are STUNNING boat captures!!
Diane - those headless boys - awesomely paranormal! ;D
Carl - my fave is the little girl running through cemetery! The blear and blur is spectacular and so perfect for the scene!
I've been developing color for the last 2 wks (14 rolls! Still scanning). All my (belated) spring bloom captures to remind me of one of my most beloved times of year. :)
-
humor me... a few more :)
-
okay last one to share

@ Original Ann
Those shots are just magnificent. The first two are my favourites, with the second shot being my absolute favourite. Absolutely stunning and one of the best series I've seen on any thread since joining Filmwasters.
Right, 'nuff said, I'm off for another look at them....... :)
-
Diane - love that pinhole shot!

I wish I could comment on every bodies pictures they are all great.
However, whilst gardening this weekend I had an unplanned photo opportunity.
Mr Robin came to visit!
Mike
-
HP...I love this third image..great catch!
-
such a treat to go back through this thread.
Birds, boats and blossoms are the standouts for me.
I adore the series of blossoms and think they are indeed some of the best that have been shown here.
I also adore the dog shots, especially the yawing dog. What's not to like about that??
All great, too many really to comment on individually..just keep them coming!
-
What beautiful and delicate birdie images, happyforest!
Thanks all for the kind comments about my blossoming tree captures.
-
Patois !
Bretton Woods !
I love that place.
-
Diane and orginal-ann
Thank you for your comments
The robin must have stretched it wings as I fired the shutter as I do not recall seeing his wings out like this either before or after the shot was taken, although I was aware that there was some movement as I took some of the shots.
Have to admit I am quietly pleased with these and the fact that I have something to post.
Thank you
Mike

hookstrapped...again your work just blows me away! Too beautiful! and that baby is adorable! as are they both!
-
Peter, I echo Diane's words. Wonderful work, as always.
-
Just testing out some original 600 film I have left... and it's still alive!
-
Here's a couple from Sunday, Efke RB23 processed in Pyrocat HD. All brand new to me, this was my second roll. The first came out horribly under developed. These were over developed a little I think, and are scans of the -1 stop bracket exposure. Just bought 6 more rolls, so I can get dailed in on my developer dilution/time.

Thanks! I'm shooting Tri-X 400 either at 400 with Rodinal or pushed 1.5 stops with Tmax developer (the night stuff, and more and more for all purpose).
