recently one of my pieces was excepted at the viewpoint photographic art center in sacramento... here is a link www.viewpointgallery.org (http://www.viewpointgallery.org).  you can see the image at that site (it's the current exhibit so just click on that link and it'll be there under the name aaron boot [that's my name, don't wear it out].)  it is a handcrafted kallitype in case anyone's interested. if your in the area i wouldn't mind a few faces showing up and saying how spectacular it is... or whatever.

congrats and well done on the exhibition.  I dont know much about kallitypes - do you fancy doing a small piece on the process for our new "articles" section?  It's something I'd certainly want to know more about.

thanks to you both... i appreciate that.

i was actually thinking about doing that leon... you read my mind.  maybe, if i could, split it into two sections?  the first dealing with how i make digital negs (so you're able to enlarge a 35mm to 8x10 size) and the second dealing with the actual process.  it's up to you...

happy for you man! big resume brightener  8)  great work, looks darn nice on their site. 

a photographer I know by the name of Diana Hooper Bloomfield got in too and won an award.  Diana was the juror for a local photography show I co-chaired this past fall. congrats again, Aaron  ;)
