: My photographic career...like buses
: This-is-damion December 23, 2010, 04:43:29 PM
Ive been taking photos for what seems like a loooooong time.  Its all fun. I have no real interest from anyone "outside" but im in it for the love of the game, not the glory.  That said..i love the glory it gives me a buzz....just rarely happens.

So you could have struck me down on Tuesday when I got an email from The Yurt Farm where I stayed for a few days back in April,  they wanted to use some of the pictures I took and offered me a free stay in return.....nice.  You could have struck my doubly so earlier today when I got another email from The Magificent (who very much are, by the way)  asking to use a few pictures for an up-coming record.

So 2 nice things in one week!

The Yurt farm want a selection for the website and the following pciture to use as a postcard

Its gives me a warmer feeling than sitting behind this desk for 60+ hours a week and working myself into early insanity for the benefit of others.

Love my job me.....

Damion, that is great, congratulations.  I understand where you coming from regarding the glory, the odd little tickle sure feels good. Just that feeling of someone wanting what you do is a real buzz. Here's to more days like this.

Well done, Damion.....and damned nice photos as well.

I've had a little success as my previous employers wanted some shots for a brochure. They couldn't get what they wanted from the PR crew that was working for them, so they asked me to interpret the brief and I got several (admittedly d*g*t*l) shots accepted.

It's a great feeling - more power to you..... ;)
