This is a sweet looking instant camera from 1972 that doesn't seem to have ever been produced. Interesting how much classier it looks than the Polaroid cameras. And a waist-level viewfinder!

If you click on them, you get a slightly bigger, easier to read copy.

Simpro did make a 126 "slip on" camera, but I can't find anything else.

Wow. I'm guessing Polaroid shut them down before they got to market?

When you check the Landlist, you'll see that there are many companies that also produced Polaroid compatible cameras. The reason Kodak was sued by Polaroid is that they produced their own type of instant film... I'm still surprised Polaroid won this one since both technologies were so widely different (Kodak was more like the Fuji Instax than anything else)

interesting they took out a full page ad in popular science but it didn't seem to make it to market...
