Title: Photographers Trading Cards
Post by: gary m on November 17, 2006, 02:03:44 AM
I have started a new group based on the Artist Trading Card (ATC) movement for photographers. A cool way to exchange/trade some small scale prints to collect of your favorite photographers. Drop by if your interested. http://www.flickr.com/groups/ptc/

Here is a quick sample-

Sounds interesting. I'm not familiar with the ATC so could you explain how it works exactly? Do we produce actual cards or just images that individuals can download and print off on their own choice of card etc?

Sorry, not familiar with Flickr either. I've just got past the first page and found your post that answers my question. Doh! How do I get involved?

I'm going to try and commit to this neat idea providing I have the time and the means. Maybe not right now, but will indeed make an effort to soon. Super fun project and one I hope to contribute towards. The ones that I've seen already back at the other joint are really cool and inspiring. Your's, Gary, is tops fo sure.  :)

Fun idea. Imagine in the 50's and 60s if someone had made a set of cards with people like Arbus or Walker Evans (drool) :P
