: Legacy Pro film question
: astrobeck December 10, 2009, 06:59:15 PM
Was just cruising the Freestyle site and noticed the
"legacy Pro" series of film they have on offer for pretty cheap.   :) :)

Says it's made by a major mfg. in Japan, so wondered if it is Fuji??
like maybe an ACROS equivalent?

Anyone have any inside scoop on this or used it they would share.

I need to resupply my B&W stock.

Arista Premium looks pretty good too.

I thinks its Neopan. I've been using the 400 and treating it as neopan and its quite nice I must say

I've been shooting a lot of Legacy Pro 400 this year, and all I can say is that I love it. Arista Premium is good stuff too, but I prefer the Legacy pro. I've have a hard time get the magenta hue washed out of Arista Premium, and it tends to edge curl more than Legacy Pro.

I buy my film in 100 foot bulk rolls. The Legacy Pro bulk packaging has FujiFilm printed right on it.
