We had some tiles ripped off in a storm a while back and I was advised to get this chap - who has some tiler in him - from the village in to do the repairs. He did a grand job too. His accent is so strong at first I thought he was talking to me in Gaelic.
Snapped him up with the old Kiev 60 or it might be a 6c. Whatever it is I wish it didn't have a hole in the shutter cloth and worked properly without gaffer tape since the glass is real nice me thinks. Panf/Rodinal/IsleofLewis Air.
Can't remember his name - its either Iain Angus and Angus Iain. He is one and his brother the painter is the other ! At least he is not a Murdo [25% of menfolk in the village] or Donald [45%] - which is why there is 'Donald four tractors', 'Curls', 'Clocks' etc - all Donalds !!

Great images Andrea - the second particularly so as I like the added element of the background - brings to mind Robin Gillanders work!

isn't that usually how it works?

well, maybe, maybe not. is a beer can with a hole and some film in it a camera or is it just a beer can with a hole? Not to say my shots are beer can shots (they're not, but could be), but where I'm going with that is image centric and less gear centric....
