Off to a flying start already. It really is good to see so much variety of work and that their are people here that make images so regularly. Made a couple of I aves of friends that are staying at the moment and will try to post later.

Two friends that had stayed for the last two days. Geoff is the person that started me off in the art of the darkroom and Wendy his good lady wife who spent a long time looking and contemplating over the image we made.

Got back to doing what I like best about photography yesterday - gorgeous female models. I had 8 film cameras lined up from Hasselblad to Diana and Brownie Hawkeye via a couple of Nikon Fs. Just processing the results today. What a buzz !!
(p.s. hope nude is allowed here, let me know and I'll delete if not)

sensational weekend images! Honestly, HOW does one take weekend photos and get the film developed, scanned and dedusted for upload so fast? Am I missing something here? I'm SUCH a slowpoke with my workflow :-\.

Well, I use C-41 XP2 Super. My lab scans it straight un-balanced onto a CD for me in 45 minutes. Who needs digital? I went racing:

Well if you work so fast that the dust doesn't have time to settle, that cuts out one stage and you get it all done a lot faster. :)

Tried to say earlier how much I liked the moon transit photo (the 8-hour exposure). And tried to upload 600px x 600px pic, but it was refused (too big???). Ah well.
-
Peter-Hah!! I'm clearly a poke-of-slowness!!!

It's not the px dimensions of the image, but the file size (kb) ... it's set at 300kb, which should be more than enough. Have you tried compressing the Jpg quality a bit to reduce the file size?
-
Thanks, leon; surely you're right. I'll try that next time.

Portrait I'd tried but failed to post earlier this week---weekend now long gone...in fact, we're deep into the Wednesday blues... (Kodak Portra 160NC).
