As well as the routine street stuff you see from me sometimes, I also spend a bit of time exploring as much of the non-cliched Japan as possible. The lost places not featured in Lonely Planet guides. No kimono, no Ginza lights etc, and only the occasional photograph of Fuji-san.

I've had a few requests for a haikyo gallery. So for this month's 'Grabs' I've collated a quick set of some color (what!), and some B&W work from various locations across Japan (and some from Hong Kong, UK and Aus).

Lots of abandonment going on there!  Great gallery, I love the first abandoned TV shot!
