I'm only half way through watching it and the Juergen Teller (who seemed a bit of a hoot himself) anecdote about taking a snapshot of the bin had me chortling!

For those who can't see it; it looks available as a DVD (http://www.microcinemadvd.com/product/DVD/910/William_Eggleston_Photographer.html)

Will report back later.....

It was interesting to watch - thought provoking - he came across well too!

Excellent documentary. He comes across very well - better than I thought he would have. Definately opened my eyes a bit more to his work. His early b+w work was good too - I had never seen that before.

Just took a look at the clips on that website (thanks, Chops) and boy does it look a whole better than the Eggleston DVD I bought last year. That one was 'bonkers ahoy'...this one looks a whole lot more approachable.

Can anyone identify the camera he was using in the doc?
