ALL registered Filmwasters are cordially invited to participate in our 14th Collaboration "COLOR" due NOVEMBER 2 at 11pm PST
Basic requirements: (besides being shot on film of course)
Theme: "COLOR" (aka COLOUR for those of you on the other side of the pond)
Submission Deadline: Sunday, November 2 at 11:00 PM PST.
JPEG Requirements: ONE JPEG . 72dpi. Not larger than 600-750 ppi. in
width and length. No more than 200kb.
**ALSO INCLUDE**
1.Title
2. A few SENTENCES explaining how you've interpreted the
theme with this shot.
2.The camera, process and/or type of film used
3. Your website or blog address that you'd like listed
EMAIL SUBMISSIONS to Filmwasters@gmail.com
**AND WRITE COLLAB "COLOR" or "COLOUR" in the subject line :)

ah, so the deadline is really november 2. the email i got sent listed two dates. one in october and one in november. a little confusing.

You are a registered member. Something is just going wacky with the email system.
Anyone who has registered at filmwasters can participate.
I will try and figure out what the heck is going on with the administrative emails.
Update...Heather, the email may be in your filmwasters box rather than your personal email. If you did not check the preference to get emails sent to you from Filmwasters you wouldn't get it sent to you. That's my best guess right now... Must sleep so I'll let Ed or some other nice FW team member try and figure out what's going on

I'm assuming that most of you are ahead of me on this, but worth pointing out nonetheless. We're not expecting all/any entries to be in colour. "Colour" is a theme not a requirement in this case so interpret it however you want. Get the box, walk round the outside of it and think a lot.

This time I am going to pop an alarm into my calendar on my new iPhone so I don't forget the deadline like I did in the last collab!

My watch can set an alarm for a specific date and time and v. short memo on it ::) I've had nearly the same watch that has had this ability since 1996 :P Silly iphones.... :)

Ha! Of course those without an iPhone are not the least bit jealous! :D
The great thing about my iPhone is that the camera in it is so crappy it's the closest thing to a digital toycamera I can get! I even downloaded an app called CameraBag for it that has quaint filters with funny names like 'Lolo' & 'Helga' that give results like this:

Silly I know and it will never replace emulsion for me, but fun sometimes...err, did I mention I had an iPhone?

Susan normally does the spadework when it comes to collaboration galleries, but she's snowed under preparing for a solo show, so I'm going to set the gallery up this time. Unfortunately, however, my own submission has yet to come back from the lab so I'm exercising my right as ruler of the world to extend the deadline to the middle of the week - let's say Wed 5th. By which time we should know a lot more about who's going to be the next US president as well :D
So, look people, we made it easy this time; it's "Color/Colour"....how hard can that be? Don't be shy, send us your work. "Don't think. Just send!" ;) ;) ;) Thanks to those of you who have sent stuff in already. Please bear with me re the extra few days it's going to take before the gallery goes up.

Once the "Color/Colour" is online I'll be posting details about the weekly unthemed gallery that we'll be running from now on.

I was going to say that I hoped 'rostered' wasn't the same as 'rogered' in this context, but given that you've worked 8 days in the trot the end result is pretty much the same.
