Skorj, have you come across this Japanes publication in your travels? Apparently I've got a few photos in the latest one. A fellow toy camera aficionado, who also has some of his shots in this issue sent me some grabs of my BBF shots, taken with one of Superheadz prototype cameras. Funnily, I hadn't seen these yet as I sent the undeveloped rolls (along with the test camera - I was sad to see that go) back to Japan after 5 days of shooting some film through it. Superheadz must have developed them and used a few of my shots as examples for the article, which looks to be a review of the new 35mm plastic TLR.
I'm hoping they'll be releasing the camera onto the market soon!
That's photos of one of my kids (and friends), my dog, chicken, trees, night shots of Melbourne etc there...
I'm looking forward to getting my photos back from Superheadz so I can see the others...

amazon.co.jp has them, but for a mag that is less than $8, it costs about $30 to ship.

Ha! I'll call past Camera Cabaret (the Superheadz shop in Shibuya) on the way home tomorrow then! Kakoii ne! I've not been in ages, so that would be a great excuse! Arigato. Skj.

Thanks for links Francois and Sean, $30 is pretty crazy for just shipping...I think I'll pass  :-\
I know there are a couple toy camera magazines (i.e. Light Leaks) in the U.S. but I wonder why there aren't more; it seems like Japan has a plethora of magazines devoted entirely to film and toy cameras.

i finally managed to pick up this magazine when i was in taipei this last weekend. it's selling here for around 12 bucks u.s. i wonder if the camera is still coming out this month? at least now we know the price of the camera will be 9975 yen.
japan has some really great camera magazines. i'd actually seen this one(but not this issue) on the shelves before, but not being able to look inside(magazines here are usually sealed in plastic) i wasn't sure if it was worth getting. especially as the copy i saw  looked like it may be just a  promotional tool for lomography which doesn't interest me very much.  there's another japanese magazine called "life with camera" that has some nice design, but the pictures inside are really small. the kimagure camera book on the other hand has nice big pictures of lots of different cameras and sample work.

didn't you see the price in the article? so a little under 100 bucks u.s. the price of an original diana in the magazine was even more insanely priced. japanese things tend to be a bit pricey anyway.
