thankx for the heads up :D

So exciting! I got 4 in the show :)
Now to get them all ready, funny, I do not actually remeber what exactly I submitted....
-
Congratulations Laura ;D
Anybody else got in? I haven't heard anything so I'm guessing I haven't, it's a pretty tight turn around for the start of the show.

I noticed that. I am hoping they do not want them framed, I can do it but it will be really tight! She said they had only room for 9 images ( I am not sure if that includes my stuff or not)
-
I submitted a ton of stuff the week before the deadline. Haven't heard a thing either. But I'm thrilled to hear the good news from Laura! Congrats!
-
Thank you :) I do NOT have to frame them- yea! Also Bill, I will print one up for you as well, I have been moving my house and my shop this past few weeks. First I had to find a place, then I had to move all of my stuff from my shop to my house, NOW we are moving all of it- house, shop, to one place July 1. total pain in the butt.... SO I have not been spending much time printing ( or taking photos for that matter)

Oh goodness, I misunderstood her email, I thought she said she only had room for 9 images, i was thinking it was a really small venue. I am still not sure how many they accepted but they accepted nine of mine ( I do not know where I got 4 from). I am going to be buried deep within the womb of the darkroom for hours and hours and hours.... :)
-
They accepted four of mine, just got them matted and in the mail today (I'm a very diligent procrastinator).
Congrats Laura! Wish I could make it up there for the show but the money I spent on shipping pretty much would've been a plane ticket I swear.
-
I dont think you had to matt them. I did not do mine- so I hope not :-\ It only cost me $17 to ship mine but I just sent prints. Although I am not sure they will get there by Monday, it might be Tuesday but since they moved the opening up a week I think it should be Ok- hope so anyway :P
Glad to hear you got in- Texas is well represented ;D
I am not going to make it there either, I could get a free plane ticket but I can't afford a hotel room at the moment and I could only get one or two tickets so the kids could not go and I dont have any overnight babysitters so.... Could stay with some of my husbands relatives but I would feel weird as I have only met them once. Well actually three times but all within a week.

Way to go, Mr. H!
