Snow down here in NW England too - but I'm envious of your bedroom view!

But no matter. Superbowl is on tomorrow !

I'll be drilling more pinholes and watching the game.

Woke up THIS morning and no snow at all! 4 inches of snow dissappeared overnight. Almost as if I imagined it all. Now showers and strong winds. Just been out on Trumpton Head - or whatever it is called on Eye penninsula and watched a cargo boat venture out of Broad bay into the Minch and [not] come to terms with huge crashing waves but turn around and come back in. No doubt the captain gets sea -sick!
Yes this place is grand. Do come up for a trip. Despite the short hours of daylight, the disrupted ferries, high winds and rain, the winter does have the most amazing light. And there's always a good excuse for a dram round the peat-fire  :)
