: Filmwaster Show - `665` - An Exhibition of Polaroid Photographs.
: Skorj January 23, 2008, 08:48:44 AM
After a couple of months planning, I am five weeks away from opening an exhibition for some of my Polaroid Type-665 photographs. The location is nagune (http://www.nagune.jp) in Shinjuku's famous Goldengai. Further details from the Nagune home page under ->Skorj (http://www.nagune.jp/skorj.html).

Anyone in Tokyo is welcome of course to come, and I will make sure to be there to buy you a drink. Arigato. Skorj.

Skj,this is long-overdue and thoroughly deserved. Your photography over the last couple of years has been absolutely unstoppable (well, the good stuff has been anyway  ;)) and a total inspiration. You the man.

Hope the show goes really well and that you sell loads. A resulting book deal would also be a good thing, because I NEED a book of those 665 masterpieces sometime soon.

Thanks again folks. Appreciate the comments from all... A book has been offered, I just need to find the time & energy to follow up with a possible publisher.

For those who cannot attend, a brief precis of the show is available here: filmwasters portfolios skorj (http://www.filmwasters.com/portfolios/v/skorj/), not quite the same as 60cm prints, but better than nothing. I will of course take some photographs too of the space, and the attendees (at least the good looking ones). Thanks. Skj.
