It's that time of the year once more.
And as usual, I'm the first to come with my annual wishes.
So, I want to wish you all a Happy New Year.
Hoping that 2025 will bring you good health and the resilience to face the year's challenges.
Lets hope that you will get to find peace of mind among all the turmoil and still have the power to find beauty in the world.
Cheers!

Happy new year everyone! Though I'm mostly just a lurker here, I have come to appreciate this little corner of the internet and the inspiration it provides; admiring everyone's photos in the weekend thread has become a part of my weekly routine that I very much look forward to. Also, since I'm a math tutor, I'd like to remind everybody that this year is this century's only perfect square. Live it to its fullest!

Happy New Year to all! I am with grit in my appreciation for this wonderfully positive and beautiful corner of the webz. I hope you all have a great year and shoot your very best images on whatever cameras and film you choose. From fresh HP5 in a mint condition Hassy to some long expired Vericolor II in a matchbox pinhole doo-hicky, I'm looking forward to seeing it all.
Here is a leaky shot from my Yashica 44LM shooting expired Konica 160 (46mm non-perf).

A Happy New Year to you all.
For this year I'm hoping that as I go from 'unemployed' to 'retired' I'll be able to spend more time on filmwasting!
Seem to have been doing much less photography these last few years.

I'm definitely with you on this one.

2024 was a great year for photography for me with all the places I traveled to for work. Unfortunately I will be traveling less going forward but I'll try to make the best of it. Maybe I'll do more 4X5 stuff if I'm home more.
