Had a chance to get out shooting on Wednesday with a film that I hadn't tried earlier, the Oriental Seagull 400. Made in the UK, so it's probably repackaged Kentmere 400. I used the times from the Masiive Dev Chart for Kentmere 400, seems OK. It seems to be a bit grainier than I like, but we'll see as I get through the ten-pack I bought.
NB! Don't forget to sign up for the postcard exchange that Leanne started! :)

Is it the weekend already? 😂 Here's a shot taken on Irv's generously donated Agfa Vista 100 (heretofore known as "Irv-Vista"). I believe I shot this at ISO 1000. You read that right, that extra zero is meant to be there 😲 Dev'd in freshly mixed C41, no push. I've concluded that C41 is just magic stuff.

Testing my new Kodak Retina IIIc. Ilford FP4+ developed in beer. This first one was shot with the Schneider - Kreuznach Curtar - Xenon f/5.6 35mm lens that I got with my IIIC. What I have read is that you should use the wide and telephoto lenses that were paired with the camera at the factory. I don't see any problem using this one with the wrong camera.

Some dork with one of those clunky old film cameras.

It really is. When the worst you can get is a color cast, it's really good stuff.

I lugged a 4x5 monorail around Seaton Delaval Hall in Northumberland, England.

And of course, I'd argue that a color cast is the best you can hope for 😁

Especially for concert shots with the colored lighting.

I've been wanting one of these for a very long time, but kept talking myself out of it because "it'll just be another box camera" and because they usually only show up for insane prices. Well one came up in decent shape for a non-insane price, and I reasoned with myself that the viewfinders on most box cameras suck which is really the only thing that keeps me from seriously using them. And this has basically the biggest viewfinder ever.

I had an old roll of Fuji Acros (old type) sitting around that was only getting older, so decided to use that for a test roll. Had a brain fart and forgot I was developing 120, not 135, resulting in bubble areas on the film. However, I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far, and the huge viewfinder really is good.
