I know it's Friday the 13th, but I'm taking the chance. Here's two shots from my home town up north, shot with one of my favourite wide lenses, the Orion-15 6.0/28mm.

I had never heard of the Orion-15 lens... I'm going to have to check it out.

Ha,ha, this is weird: Last night, after you wrote the above, I dreamt that you came to my house to have a look at the Orion-15! You were wearing a blue jacket or sweater of some kind. I think I even showed you the Russar MR-2, 5.6/20mm. By the way they are both on the expensive side of Soviet lenses today, so don't look too hard. ;)

I know, I checked yesterday.
But there is one up for auction at the moment for 60$ + shipping... with six people waiting to battle it out.
This one is bound to go up to the 200$+
This is a far cry from the 20$ I paid for the Minolta Maxxum 7000 I got a few weekends ago.
Now, I'm thinking... do I have a blue jacket?
I have a blue snow jacket and a blue rain coat... 😁

pals Joe Van Cleave and Ethan Moses prepping for the eclipse a few days before it happened.
they pinholed the event with a paper tube that almost reached the sun.
I made the photo with a Minolta Explorer pocket camera and some arista in caffenol...swish swish.

Joe did a great video of the entire event.
It looked like they had a good time.
And like Ethan said: you must remember to touch the red and yellow wires to trigger the shutter, not the yellow and red ones 😁
