I understand It’s a long weekend in Canada. My neighbors Hosta is doing really good this summer, despite the rabbits eating it. I was watching a baby bunny eating it. I stood there really still, it came up to me, sniffed my foot, then went back to eating it.

Had the family together for July 4th, the first time post-Covid. A "then and now" pair:
Then: Pentax MX, lens forgotten but probably 100/2.8
Now: Leica M6, 35/2 Summicron

It might be in some provinces, but here it's just a regular lazy summer weekend.
But we do are in the middle of construction holidays. All the construction workers that are unionized take their vacation at the same time to alleviate materials shortages.

Another from the marshes. It's a bit of a dry time for me, the summer, okay the summer months bearing in mind the wind and rain. It's all a bit green.

Very nice shot, Harvey!
Two architecture shots from me with the Polaroid Spectra.

the local Filmwasters got together for some Afghan Box fun in an Albuquerque park today!
The first shot is of Joe Van Cleave making a portrait of Mike Connealy with his "Albuquerque Box"
The next shot is Ethan Moses in his big straw hat, making a portrait with his Afghan box of a curious passerby with her dogs.
Both using the reversal process to make prints.
It was a fun day! Lot's of shade made it nicer!
I was using a wonky Pentax K1000 SE that I got from a friend with an SMC Pentax M f/2 lens.
Arista 100 in swishy caffenol.

I have now mnaged to eliminate the light leaks on the Polaroid 110b I adapted to take 5x4 DDS. The images come out in 4x3, so I think that I wil use it with paper negs and also finesse the focus a little bit

Really looks like it!
I'm happy to see that the guys are still using their big box camera 😊
I really need to find some time to go out as it's been a crazy summer so far for me.
