Went for a stroll downtown on a quiet Sunday morning with a newly restored Contax II from 1939. The street artists are getting ready for the annual street art festival.

I know, I shot a lot of film in American Samoa. I still have one more roll to edit after this one, then I'll stop boring you with it. More expired Kodak Gold with Minolta srT201. I used an extension tube on the closeup of the toad.

A couple of portraits from the end of last year using Lomo Metropolis with has a slight blue tint on the negs so a bit of colour correction.
Shot with the Mamiya C33 TLR developed by NTphotoworks.

Bryan, I won't ever get bored with your traveling photos. I love the tropicals!
Mine is an Ansco Pix Panorama shot with the mask removed from down south out in the middle of not much.
Found a water tank/mill that was barricaded off, so "look but don't drink the water".
The usual Arista dipped in caffenol.

I used an extension tube on the closeup of the toad.
What an ugly looking beast!
It looks nothing like the ones we have around here.
And BTW, people who love to eat frog legs don't know that what they're actually eating are toad legs...

Bullfrogs and toads are separate families....
Different families = different legs.

Well, you’re in luck then, I’m probably going back in a few months to finish the project. There’s no way I’m not taking a camera or two.
I’ve had frog legs, tastes like chicken. Might as well just eat chicken. I’ve also had rattlesnake. I always tell people it tastes more like chicken than chicken does. It has a very strong chicken flavor.
I found out after taking that shot that the Cane Toad is an invasive species there. It’s originally from South America but has been introduced throughout the Pacific Islands. I’ve also seen them in Palau and Saipan. They take over the habitat of local toads. Something needs to eat them, but it’s probably not going to be me.

Here we have only two species, the frogs and the toads (in french "crapaud").
And some of our frogs are absolutely tiny, in my city we even have a unique type of chorus frogs that's smaller than my finger and chirps like a cricket!

Is it still the weekend? I took the day off work yesterday and today is a holiday, so I'm thinking it's still fair game. These are more from the Bronica S2a, this time loaded with Ultrafine Extreme 400 and dev'd in more 510Pyro. I took these in the back yard of a friend's house. It is a 1939 California Bungalow. These are actually outside of the garage. Even here you can see the exposed beams under the eves. The details are fantastic and they have kept it pretty much in the original configuration with original hardware and fixtures. The garage door could probably use a bit of paint, but it makes a nice texture for a photo.

Forgot to post these at the weekend but I did develop them then so that still counts, right? A recent trip to the Amberley Museum near Arundel to check my Leica IIIf was still in good order after not having used it for three years. Ilford FP4+ film through a yellow filter on a nice sunny day.
