There are stories that Amelia Earhart was held in this jail by the Japanese after she crashed. Supposedly her last name was scratched on one of the cell walls and there are stories from locals at that time that she was there. I asked an archeologist I was working with on Saipan several years ago, he said "unless she forgot how to spell her own name, she wasn't there".

I just processed a roll a few minutes ago, so talk about "just in time" processing 😁
Old Kodak Gold 200 at a whopping EI64... this stuff might be decades out of date but it's still got some life left in it.

Nice colours Francois, especially the beetle! I've got two more from the beach.

Thanks Kai!
I must admit that it's my best self-developed roll of color up to now. The other ones were developed OK, but this one is really good.
It's a bit funny because every time I see a beach scene, I somehow miss the ocean. All we have here is the river with it's 3 eyed fish (lets just say it's pretty polluted).

Nice job Francois! Kodak gold holds up really well, even decades past the expiration date. I always send color film to a lab but some of my best color shots are on expired Kodak Gold.

It's funny because I used to be a Fuji guy. But now that I have a ton of expired film to slowly burn through, I find the old Gold pretty darn satisfying.
