: Funny descriptions in camera ads

Camera ads can be interesting reading if you're not solely focused on the technical details. Some of them are outright funny although they are not intended to be. The best ones are private ads found on ebay, etsy and other similar sales channels. Lets share them here to cheer us all up.

Here are a couple from today's reading:

The first one is from the UK. I think it's a very good example of British understatement, describing a camera as "Fairly scarce".

Next one up is from China. This seller has clearly understood the challenges of digital viewfinders, offering up a "No Time Lag Optical Viewfinder".

No time lag??? :o :o :o I'll take a dozen!!! ;D But actually, who are our scientists here? Is there really no added time lag when light has to go through different media? I know there are reflection and refraction events that happen when waves meet different density media, but does that introduce any sort of time lag with the light ray that actually hits my eye? I need to know if there's a femtosecond delay when looking through a viewfinder as opposed to my bare eyes!!!  ;D ;D ;D

In that time span your eye will not be able to focus, and it doesn't get better with age; believe me.  :(  But you can get one for the princely sum of 21 USD and if you buy more than four you'll get a 16% discount!  :D

Similar to music labels releasing albums in 196kHz/32bit, a resolution at which human ears (and even dog ears) can't hear, I need the absolute fastest technology man can deliver! I need a camera that takes a picture before I even realize I've missed the moment!  ;D

I've got one of those cameras, a Konica Autoreflex T3 with the automatic fire syndrome. As soon as you let go of the wind lever after having advanced the film, the shutter fires immediately. You can have it for free, I would even pay the shipping cost just to get rid of it.
