I've met feral cats that are downright affectionate. Not many, mind you, but they're out there.

They're just keeping you occupied while their friends steal your wallet.

I've been using this camera quite a bit this year, trying to locate an intermittent light leak with, thus far, limited success. I've tried all of the normal tests, taping off various parts of the camera, but thus far have not isolated the source.

 They are definitely out there.
For some odd reason, animals tend to like me a whole lot. I've had cats follow me home. I've been slobbered by countless dogs. I've had parrots begging me for a neck scratch...there was even a baby shark that kept following my movements from his tank!

Saying that a dog loves you is like saying that somehow, magically, gravity actually applies to you  ;D

However, you may have something there as a shark whisperer  :o

Hawaii is full of feral cats, chickens and mongoose.  The problem is no predators to get rid of them, unless they go in the water, the feral sharks will get them there.

Hookstrapped, I love that rainy day shot (although it caused a minor attack of GAS for a Jupiter 3).  :P

How very à propos lately. If you had gone to the same place yesterday, you probably would have seen hordes of T.P. zombies trying to open the grill to get their hands on those few luxury rolls  ;D

Two Shots with Adox Scala 160 B&W reversal film taken at the local forest cementry. Actually a great place to spend some quality time more than 1.5 meters away from other people.  ;)

The shark was quite cute. Maybe 8 inches long. It was funny because the tank was in my dentist's waiting room. Every time I'd go I would just tap on the glass and he'd come. The other tropical fish didn't care but he actually did. One time I went and the tank was gone, so I asked what happened to it. It happens that one morning they came in the the shark had stayed-up for a late night snack... one of the fish was also partly missing. So they decided to take it out in case it should happen when everyone is watching. I must say I was a bit bummed out...

As for the dogs, I somehow manage to calm down some dogs that scare people. Did it with a huge bull terrier a few years ago. It took about 5 minutes and we were friends... I still didn't trust him but he seemed quite happy to have me as a friend.

Manuel, those are fantastic, and it's fun to see something from reversal film too!

Francois, the shark may very well have recognized you. Sharks are quite smart, and by some accounts they are actually lovely creatures! Here's a story about a diver who has a shark friend. (https://honesttopaws.com/best-friends-with-a-shark/)

Also, now I am singing the baby shark song.

Thanks, Manuel. It's Ektar, admittedly with slight tweaking after the fact. The light is all New Mexico (and it really is pretty stunning).
