Hey guys,
Through a random act of kindness I performed, I ended up with several copies of Seamus Ryan's gorgeous, rare, hardbound, limited run book, Involuntary Sculptures. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/095463490X/026-5664156-2894062
Seamus has generously offered to donate the books to members of filmwasters. As of now, four of the eight have been claimed and one needs to be held for Seamus until further notice. In return, all I ask is for the three lucky folks who get this book to paypal me shipping costs (I'll figure cost today) then perform a random act of kindness for a fellow Filmwaster. As an example, Damion claimed a book and has attempted a random act of kindess by giving away film to the first taker (on another thread). The act can be as simple as passing on information you know another waster would like to have or passing on a photo book that's just sitting on your shelf...Whatever. Doesn't have to be monitary or in the physical form--just something that you know will benefit another.
The first three folks who sign up on this thread, nab the books. But PLEASE send me an email through filmwasters with your address and confirmation you signed up for the book. I'll send you the cost of shipping.

A bit about Seamus - he's a UK based photographer who works in the fine art and commercial arenas. His book focuses on his work with Polariod 55.
Seamus has private showing of his new works in London on Saturday May 6th from 2-4pm in London. UK based Filmwasters are invited to attend - heck you get a free glass of dodgy wine so who could pass that up! I'll post the location of the gallery when he sends that information.

Wow, sounds like a worth while and groovy opportunity to own a copy, but unfortunately, I don't have that paypal option, Susan. His Polaroid's are pretty spectacular, along with his portrait work. I'll pass the chance to the next available FW member. :)
