interesting. except for some of the clothing/hair styles, it looks like japan today!

i plan on taking a couple rolls of my E-2 film with me, try to recreate that 50-60s vibe.

Currently at Showa-Kan (that monstrous carbuncle on Tokyo's Kudan crossing) is an exhibition of 1950s photography of Japan by Werner Bischoff. Entrance free. Well worth seeing if you're in Tokyo through April 19.

Indeed, many of these places look the same today. Love the color! Arigato.

Thanks for the tip. We have at least three filmwasters getting together for a few excursions over the next few weeks in Tokyo, so we might add this one as well. Skj.
