Welcome!
When I was looking at the first picture, I kept thinking that the fog must be really bad at your place :)

Nice shot Alan. You look pretty relaxed already. Dev'd in mint tea? Is this a caffenol variant?

Thank you, the recipe was found on you tube; search for pinhole and royal institute. I found it was quite weak and just waited !

Welcome to the slow photo place. Nice shot, by the way. When I talk to my youngest friends about developing with coffee or tea they do not believe me at all. It is all on the internet I say. And here's an example  :)

Have the tea shops all been lying? Mint tea is in fact not caffeine-free? :o

Caffeic acid <> caffeine

So that begs the question. Why not use decaffeinated coffee for caffenol. Reinhold??

at your service, decaffeinated arabica works:

Welcome Alan. For a faster develpment you can try to double the amount of washing soda, seems to be a bit low. And to check if mint tea is really a dev agent or if it's the Vit-C alone you can try it without Vit-C, only tea with washing soda, there should be at least a weak blackening.

Awesome. Sometimes decaf instant is cheaper than regular, but I never buy it because I read somewhere that decaf wouldn't work. Thanks for the info!
