ΪΤϩ ҬӉӖ ᾠὲέҡὲὴḑ
« on: August 26, 2021, 06:40:47 PM »
Wanted to be the first and wanted to be fancy, so it took me about 10 minutes to write down the subject line  ;D
Here are some leftovers from last week... and since we're in the middle of yet another scorching heat wave, there's not much else to do.

A few shots from Arizona.  Zeiss Ikon ICA TRONA with Fomapan 100, developed in Kodak HC-110 Dilution B.

Wow Bryan!
I wasn't expecting such good results from that combo.
I'll definitely have to find some times for foma100 in hc110

Hey, the weekend again!  8)
Francois, it's scorching everywhere, especially down here in the southwest. It was reasonable for a while, but now it's just hot and dry again.
Here's a single from me, using some of Irv's expired Vista print film.
This time in a Harman EZ35. It's a neat little point and shoot that has an auto film advance, which I like....especially for just riding down the road and aiming at old motels along Route 66. This one was in Grants, New Mexico. We saw this after meeting up with Bryan in Gallup.

Here, it was hot and humid. Probably felt like Miami in the summer!
Usually a heat wave lasts three days around here. This one lasted ten... horrible.
But this morning it was reasonably cool. So in less than 24 hours we went from C-41 temperatures to B&W temps  ;D

@Francois. You're going to have to explain that third picture Francois. It looks like an OOF WOOF to me, or an alien maybe.

I thought of a rabbit running across the street in the car headlights. 🙂

It's been a long time.

Loving ManuelL's Luneburg Heath and Bryan's Arizona shots.

I've not given up photography but other things have demanded more of my time. Anyway, I've shot a roll of Portra 400 on a visit to Clare (a small village in Suffolk, UK) recently, so here's a couple of photos from that roll.

It's a pretty good guess.
It's actually a small plastic rabbit that I took with a pinhole adapter on the camera.
To my surprise, I discovered that my Nikon f90x doesn't meter probably with it, so the negative was massively underexposed. That's why the image is so dark.

Hi Peter,
Yes we're okay, thanks. I hope you and your good lady are also in good health.
I've found the last 18 months or so a real struggle. Probably no more so than many others - but at least I'm starting to get a bit more interested in taking photos than I have for what feels like years.

Yes, I used a red filter on that one, the other two shots were unfiltered.

Hey LD!
Long time no see.

I don't blame you for hating the last 18 months or so. I didn't think a time like that could be so uninteresting and uninspiring.

My dad, born 100 years ago this week, with his mother. As I went through the various negatives I inherited, it struck me that my dad's generation was the first to be documented on a month-to-month basis; and that mine was the first to see our parents grow up, on film.
