I sold my red XA3 after I bought the XA but not after long I sold the latter and wished I had kept the former

Why? you mustn't use the rangefinder (I never do) but can do scale focussing. Only the XA gives you control over exposure and dof. I have a love-hate for the XA. Sometimes I love the vignetting, sometimes I hate it and sometimes it doesn't show. But she has no rival at all. Minox 35? All that I've seen were kaputt. Only once I had a working one. For 1 day - then the shutter broke after a little playing.

Ya I am in agreement here. On one hand I find it amazing that they were able to squeeze a rangefinder into the XA, I do find it pretty much useless and mainly use it for scale focusing.
