Prompted by Nicole & Diane we've decided that it would be a great idea to set up 3 galleries to document each of the postcard exchanges we've run so far. I'm loathe to set up another page on Filmwasters for the postcard swaps, so I think it best to integrate them into the Collaboration galleries page.
While it would be great if the galleries could represent all of the work involved in the three exchanges I simply don't have time to chase everyone involved to get scans of their work before making the galleries public. So I'll be the passive participant in this enterprise and will leave it up to you. If you want your work in the galleries please see the instructions below. If you don't want the work included or just don't have time to send in the scan and related info that's fine.
Here's how to send in your photos (the instructions will be familiar to anyone who's participated in any of our regular collaborations):
- Send your images via email to 'filmwasters (at) gmail.com'
- Send each image in a separate email. Do NOT send 2 or 3 images in the same email.
- Please make sure the subject of your email follows this format as closely as possible: 'Postcard Exchange #1: Your Name'. If you don't do this there's a small chance the email will be missed.
- Write any information you want me to include in the gallery in the body of the email.
- 72 dpi (preferred), max 600-750 pixels in longest dimension (mandatory), no more than 200 kb in size (mandatory).
Since the material should be to hand I'd like to keep the deadline quite short so let's say Sunday 31st May. If stuff arrives after that date I'm sure it'll get added eventually, but I'll be putting the galleries online around that date, so if you want to be in from the start please get me your work by the 31st.
